The Story is about Diyva and Karan Saxena both are in love and plan to marry. Karan has a younger step-brother, Vivek Saxena who he looks after him as though he were his own brother. Divya and Vivek hang out with quite a few young people of their own age, Atul, Vijay, Prem, Ashok, Nita, Rashmi, Niki, and Priti, just to name a few. Two male members try to sexually molest Divya, and get a sound thrashing from Karan. After apologizing, these two members decide to avenge their beating and humiliation. After entrapping Divya, they sexually molest her to such an extent that Divya attempts to kill herself. Unknown to Divya, she was the lover of Kapil a snake with magical powers, in a previous life. Their love life was shattered by an angry sage who cursed them with separation until the 21st century. Divya, who was called Vasundhara in her previous life, dies after this curse, and is reborn as Divya. Jwala Prasad is to marry the girl of his dreams. Rajesh (Mohnish Bahl) runs the business for his dad, Kailashnath (Alok Nath), and is an eligible bachelor. The family wants him to marry Pooja Choudhury (Renuka Shahane), to which he agrees. With great gusto the families get together to plan the engagement and marriage ceremonies. At these ceremonies, Rajesh’s younger brother, Prem (Salman Khan) meets Pooja’s younger sister, Nisha (Madhur Dixit), and after a few meetings both fall in love with each other. After a few months, Pooja gives birth to a baby, but unfortunately, dies shortly thereafter. Rajesh is devastated, and the families get together and decide that it will be in the best interests of both the child and Rajesh, if Nisha were to take Pooja’s place and marry Rajesh. Hence the title, simply translated means: What Is My Relationship With You? No doubt this question will linger in the minds of both Nisha and Prem, who are all set to face a new relationship.
