Movie Summary
Ten years have passed since the "Battle of the Breach" where brave Jaeger pilots sealed the gate to the Kaiju dimension. The oceans have shown no new signs of Kaiju. Peace and prosperity has been found across the Earth after countries and peoples worked together to rebuild. The Jaeger program, having proven its worth, became re-established with the intent of Jaeger pilots safeguarding the entire planet. When the Kaiju threat one day surprisingly re-emerges stronger and more horrific than before, Mako Mori seeks out an ex-Jaeger pilot, Stacker Pentecost's son Jake, to help train and lead the new Jaeger pilots into the battle.
