This Movie Story Deals With Kumar family consists of Ramprasad (Saeed Jaffrey), his wife Durga (Bindu).Their married son Vijay (Raj Kiran), his wife Sharda (Deepti Naval). Vijay and Sharda’s daughter Pinky. Durga and Ramprasad’s daughter Kanchan who lives with them with her husband Bajrangi. An unmarried and unemployed son Amar (Anil Kapoor).The movie opens with the dysfunctional Kumar family, where most of its members are highly greedy, lazy, selfish and abusive. Durga is a short tempered, aggressive woman who physically and verbally abuses her daughter in law, Sharada, for every minor reason and belittles her for her poverty. Her elder son, Vijay follows her footsteps and is insensitive and abusive towards his wife and daughter. Durga’s lazy daughter, Kanchan, is just like her mother and falsely accuses Sharada for being lazy, which results in the latter getting beaten up. On 12 May 2000, a truck gets stolen in Los Angeles, and the police bring in six men of South Asian origin for questioning. They are: Yashvardhan Rampal, known as ‘Major’ educated intelligent, unemployed, with an ailing wife who longs to return to India; Non-English speaking Jay Rehan, otherwise known as ‘Ajju’, a foul-mouthed, trigger-happy gangster; A out-of-work former nightclub bouncer, Marc Issak, whose girlfriend, Lisa, is a bar dancer, and who is known to get into fights due to his uncontrollable temper; A drug dealer, Raj Yadav, otherwise known as Bali, foul-mouthed, womanizer, stutterer, and alcoholic; Bali’s sidekick, Maqbool Haider, otherwise known as Mac; White-collared Anand Mathur, alias Andy, recently separated from his wife, Renu, and longing to get back together with his son, who he cannot get custody of due to financial problems. The six confer in a cell, cite woes that even though the Italians have their Mafia, the Colombians have their Cartels, but the East Indian criminal community is yet to forge a Bhai-type organization, resulting in their getting pulled in as the usual suspects every time there is a crime involving a colored person. They plot to get back at the cops by robbing the American Services Bank, perhaps the only bank which has a majority of its clientele employed by the city police. They plan and carry out this caper quite successfully, but when they exit the bank, they find themselves surrounded by the police. After a shoot-out, They do manage to escape and meet in a secret hideout, to not only share the loot, but also try and find out who betrayed them. Ajju abducts police interrogator, Detective MacQuarrie, and it is through him they learn that their informer is one of them and they must find out his identity, kill him, then divide the loot amongst them and disperse. The movie story deals with Priyanka a teenager who lives a very wealthy lifestyle with her widowed politician father, Satyendra Pal Choudhary. Satyendra owes his allegiance to Bharatiya Ekta Party. As Satyendra’s popularity rises he fears for his life and that of his daughter’s and as a result hires a bodyguard named Ajay for Priyanka. Gradually, Priyanka and Ajay fall in love with each other. With the elections approaching, and Satyendra’s growing popularity creates some uncertainty with other political parties; as a result Priyanka is kidnapped and Ajay is seriously wounded while trying to protect her and is hospitalized. When the news is made public, a wave of sympathy moves in Satyendra’s favor and he is sure to win the election. Priyanka’s abductors demand two crore rupees, but before Satyendra could respond the police find a body of a young woman, who is presumed to be that of Priyanka. The film revolves around two people. Lal is an ambitious guy who wants to start his own business and make it big in life. Das is a loudmouth, and a very arrogant person. The two manage to get hold of 5100 rupees and they open a vada pav centre. As luck would have it, Lal wins Rs. 2 lakhs in a contest. The duo plan to start a travel agency. Since they do not have enough money to buy a vehicle, they use spare parts of old cars to create a bus. Trusting Das to come up with a good make of a bus, he blindly hands over the prize money to him. Lal manages to get passengers for their first ride. But when the bus comes all hell breaks loose with people demanding their money back. But when the passengers are forced to ride in it, it creates a unique experience for them.The group finds dying thief and he tells them about a hidden prize with a map. They tear the map and everyone keeps s piece, to work together. However, greed leads to a rat race, but they somehow manage to find gold under a statue which they pulled down, but the gold is seized by the police. After the police are off with the gold, the passengers as well as the bus owner duo begin to repent their greed and decide to do a “philanthropic” job by fixing the fallen statue. But trying to fix the statue they manage to break it into pieces. Inside is a pack of diamonds. The movie story deals with Tony who works as a hit-man for gangster, Vikas Patil, who owes his allegiance to wealthy Raj Mallya. Raj Mallya is involved in marketing spurious and out-dated drugs, and as a result is the subject of an investigation by the Food & Drugs Administration’s inspector Dr. Hargobind Gosai.
